Who We Are

Cariño for Progress Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Olga Cariño, a woman whose life has been dedicated to public service and the well-being of her community. Her commitment to social justice and inclusion is reflected in each stage of her journey: she began serving as a police officer in Puerto Rico, continued her path as a psychiatrist in the United States, established herself as an entrepreneur, ran as a candidate for Mayor of Kissimmee, and currently serves as part of the Extended Congressional Delegates Florida Chapter.

Inspired by years of experience and service, Olga created this foundation with the purpose of making a positive impact in the community, working hand in hand with local leaders and organizations to promote public policies that benefit everyone, especially the most vulnerable groups.

The mission of Cariño for Progress Foundation is clear: to build a fairer, more inclusive, and more compassionate society where every person has the opportunity to grow and live with dignity.
